I had quite an interesting day yesterday.  I was scheduled to go out with one of my buyer clients to the East County and look at property.  The day was rainy which is unusual for San Diego so I didn't know if she was going to cancel or not.  She didn't and so we were off!!  We viewed 10 properties in all.  Whew!! :-)  Unfortunately, most of the properties that we viewed were Short Sales (Pre-Foreclosures).  It's sad that these people are losing their homes but you would think that if they really want it to sell it before it goes into foreclosure,  they would at-least try and make it tidy.  Most of the homes that we went into were disgustingly dirty. Dishes piled up in the sink with food from a few days ago.  With a presentation of this sort it makes it difficult for someone who is looking to potentially buy one of these homes. One of the homes that we viewed was so dirty that my client broke out into hives.  I guess that we won't be putting in an offer on that one.  Well, among all the obstacle courses that we went through, she did see something that she liked and is considering.  We're gonna see a few more things first.  The good thing is that there are great opportunities for buyers right now.  We're not running into multiple bids like 2 years ago which was a nightmare. Although, within the last 2 months I was in  2 multiple bidding situations which my clients did not get.  The homes that are priced right are definitely being picked up immediately by savvy buyers that are sitting on the guide lines waiting for a "Good Deal".
