We have been keeping very busy with home sales in North Park and South Park during the first quarter of 2011. The rainfall finally calmed down, which made it very difficult for sellers during the buyers home inspections. 75 percent of the homes in our market had some type of water under the house and of course this is always a concern to buyers, especially if they have never bought an older home before. We definitely got through it and it seems as if we have picked up going into the 2nd quarter.

In the meantime we are very excited about the new office that we are opening in North Park.  It is at 3855 Granada Ave. right around the corner from the North Park Theatre. If you are in the area, stop by and say hello.  We should be completely done by May 1st.

Our North Park home was featured on the NBC Today show in New York by Real Estate Mogul, Barbara Corcoran. Great homes you can find throughout the country for $350,000 and under. We are the last home on the segment.

Great opportunity in North Park for a first time home buyers looking to buy a 2bed/2bath home in this part of San Diego and pay under 450K. Most 2 bedroom homes in this area come with 1 bathroom.  This Craftsman bungalow is definitely a treat.  We will be open from 1-3pm on Sat. and Sun. South Park has the Grant St Market and North Park has North Park Market and Wine.  I just went into what used to be the Myrtle St Market to get some water and met the new owner that just took over 20 days ago. He has since changed the name and is in the process of making it sort of what The Grant St Market is like.

He is working hard to create a new cozy and quaint little market where neighbors can feel comfortable coming and having coffee/tea and reading their paper in the morning and even bringing their pets to sit in the out door area that will soon have a few chairs and tables.

He is planning on bringing in some vegan and organic food and treats, which from a vegan's point of view is great because there are not too many vegan options in our area currently.

He also mentioned that there will be several different options with beer and wine as well.  If you are a North Park neighbor, go by and take a peek.  I think that it will be a nice addition in our neighborhood.

This is a treat over in South Park, a quaint little neighborhood of San Diego. We just put this Craftsman Home on the market about 5 minutes ago and the phone is already ringing to inquire on how the public can get in to see this beautiful home. 

We will have our first public open house on Sat the 19th of March and one on Sun the 20th. Both will be from 1-3pm so do not miss it.  Pictures will be up tomorrow for viewing.
